Bicycling

I ride almost everyday - when the weather permits. Occassionally I ride with Annapolis Bicycle Club (ABC), or WHIRL - Washington's Independent Rebumbent Riders, or when I'm near Atlanta Georgia I ride with the Atlanta Recumbent Riders.

Big rides in the past include Cycle The Erie Canal a tour from Buffalo to Albany, NY. This ride is a little over 400 miles. I rode it in 2000 and 2001. That's me in the picture on the website. I was riding a Bike-E and am on the left, with Halie Davidson in the middle.

But the main interest is in soaring.

Here I am standing by the Ka8B - MU. At the foot of the mountains in the background is Mount St. Mary's College, and further into the hills is the location of Camp David - the presidential retreat. The second picture shows MU during a take-off being towed by one of M-ASA Pawnees.

Woodworking
